*Please note that we will have another 6th Grade Mock STAAR Assessment on 3/27/12. It will be taken for a test grade. No retake will be offered, but students will be able to make corrections (up to 70%) if they do not pass.
Spring Break Packets are DUE on 3/21/12 and 3/22/12 (at the beginning of your math class period). Each student who submits his/her packet on time will earn 10 extra credit points on the assignment.

The assessmnet for Unit 3 will be in the form of an essay. This will be a character analysis of Max from Freak the Mighty, and will be due on March 23 (all classes). The complete assignment can be found in the Springboard textbook on pages 267-269.
I will be giving all classes more information on this in class Wednesday and Thursday (except 5th period, you all have the assignment already).
Please be sure to use the Springboard textbook to guide you through this. Use appropriate transitions (p. 14), and the proper format (Intro, 3 body paragraphs and conclusion). This can either be handwritten on loose leaf paper, or typed. You can also use your notes (charts) from class.
